Love your site, the music and enjoy your books. I am a highland lover and like a hero from the past who can wear a kilt.

One of my favorite quotes comes from Alfred D Souza ... "For a long time it had seemed to me that life was about to begin. But there was always some obstacle in the way, something to be gotten through first, some unfinished business, time still to be served, a debt to be paid. Then life would begin. At last it dawned on me that these obstacles were my life." This perspective has helped me to see that there is no way to happiness. Happiness is the way. So, treasure every moment that you have. And treasure it more because you shared it with someone special, special enough to spend your time ... and remember that time waits for no one ... So stop waiting until you finish school ... until you go back to school ... until you lose ten pounds ... until you gain ten pounds ... until you have kids ... until your kids leave the house ... until you start work ... until you retire ... until you get married ... until you get divorced ... until Friday night ... until Sunday morning ... until you get a new car or home ... until your car or home is paid off ... until spring, until summer ... until fall ... until winter ... until you are off welfare ... until the first or fifteenth ... until your song comes on ... until you've had a drink ... until you've sobered up ... until you die ... until you are born again to decide that there is no better time than right now to be happy ... Happiness is a journey ... not a destination!! Thought for the day: "Work like you don't need money, Love like you've never been hurt, And dance like no one's watching."

WOW! I finally found your website listing all your books. I love the sound of all of them. I'm big into time-travel and shape-changers. I've read two with shape-changers but can't remember the author. Can you help me out? I have to read your books. I'll be ordering them soon. I'm so PROUD to be your neighbor! Ann and Richard

One of my favorite authors is Mark Twain, who was the source of so many amazing quotes - many with his tongue firmly in cheek. As far as writing, my favorite is: The difference between the right word and almost the right word is the difference between lightning and the lightning bug. I say Amen!

When one door closes another opens. But often we look so long and so regretfully upon the closed door that we fail to see the one that has opened for us. by Helen Keller

My favorite quote is: "Very few geniuses are neat people, but a significant portion of psychopaths are" Don't know who said it. Isn't it great?

My favorite quote is from a bookmark I had as a little girl: Imagination is more important than knowledge. -- Albert Einstein There is more to it: I am enough of an artist to draw freely upon my imagination. Imagination is more important than knowledge. Knowledge is limited. Imagination encircles the world. -- Albert Einstein

Hi Skhye, here's one of my favorites from Groucho Marx: "I find television very educating. Every time somebody turns on the set, I go into the other room and read a book".

Just goes to show I can't read instructions because I posted the quote at your blog . Anyway my fav quote would be from Francis Bacon : Some books are to be tasted, others to be swallowed, and some few to be chewed and digested: that is, some books are to be read only in parts, others to be read, but not curiously, and some few to be read wholly, and with diligence and attention.

Hi Skhye, I love this quote, I don't know where I seen it or who wrote it but I remembered it becauseof the meaning; Love is not blind; it sees more, not less. But because it sees more, it is willing to see less.
